Boarding is the fact that most imported school software ignores. In a Ugandan private school a large share of pupils board, and each one carries boarding fees, a dormitory place, and often transport at the start and end of term — on top of tuition. When those live in separate books, nobody can answer a parent asking what is still owed without assembling the number by hand.
The second fact is the term. Fees are charged and chased each term, not once, so an arrears list that is only accurate at the end of term is accurate too late to act on. EduX keeps tuition, boarding, transport and meals on one student record, and the balance updates as each payment is posted.

How Ugandan schools are examined
Uganda's national examinations — PLE, UCE and UACE — are set by UNEB, and many private schools run Cambridge programmes alongside them.
